Bannu – The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, District Branch Bannu, convened an important meeting with its branch volunteers under the chairmanship of District Secretary Behram Shahzada Durrani. The meeting aimed to review the branch’s emergency preparedness status and reinforce volunteer engagement in humanitarian initiatives.

Review of Emergency Preparedness

The session provided an opportunity for volunteer team leads and active members to present updates regarding preparedness measures, response capacity, and ongoing community-level activities. During the meeting, Mr. Behram Shahzada Durrani also briefed participants on recent fund-generation initiatives undertaken by the branch to support emergency response and community welfare programs. He shared details about upcoming emergency fundraising campaigns designed to enhance the branch’s operational capacity and ensure timely assistance to those in need.

In this regard, specific responsibilities and tasks were assigned to volunteer teams. Implementation of these activities will commence shortly upon receipt of official donation receipts and relevant Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials to effectively support the campaign and ensure transparency.
