Pakistan Red Crescent Society in collaboration with Norwegian Red Cross Initiated Mobile Health Teams project aims to provide basic primary health care facility to the displaced communities residing in the districts Bannu and Tank. One mobile health teams would be deployed at each district. PRCS district branches with the coordination of district health department will identify the displaced and vulnerable communities. Each Mobile Health Unit is comprised of essential medical staff including Medical officers (1 Male & 1 Female), Nurse, Dispenser, Lady Health visitor (LHV) and Health & Hygiene Promotor (1Male & 1 Female). Health and Hygiene sessions will be carried out through Hygiene promoters.
In total 96 Camps were organized in both districts out of which 57 health camps were in Bannu and 39 in Tank.
In the year 2021 total OPD conducted 87262 now in addition in 2022. Total OPD beneficiaries were 15,144 out of which 5,959 were women, 2,926 men, and 6,259 were children.
