Disaster Management is one of the core components of the National Society Mandate and has been given a prime importance in the recent past. This includes both preparedness and response in the form of structural and non-structural mitigation measures at the gross root level. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and other Partner National Societies have been supporting Pakistan Red Crescent Society, KP Provincial Branch since long in Risk Reduction and Mitigation interventions.

Integration and Linkages Development with University of Science and Technology Bannu
Pakistan Red Crescent Bannu signed an MoU with the University of Science and Technology Bannu. The MoU was based on three thematic areas: Disaster Risk Management and Adoption of Climate Change, First Aid and Emergency Response Services and youth and volunteer involvement. Celebration of RCRC Day 2022
The RCRC Day was celebrated at Govt Higher Secondary School No. 1 Peshawar Cantt by the PRCS KP Media and Communication Department. The main activity of the day was the debate competition among different schools of the Provincial Capital. The Education Minister KP Mr. Shehram Khan Tarakai was the Chief Guest of the event. The Secretary PRCS KP and all Program Managers from PRCS KP PHQ participated in the event. The Provincial Minister awarded the winners of the debate competition.
