Two-Day Meeting of District Secretaries Continues Under the Chairmanship of PRCS KP Chairman

The two-day meeting of District Secretaries of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Red Crescent Society (PRCS KP) continued on its second day under the chairmanship of Mr. Farzand Ali Wazir, Chairman, PRCS Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The meeting served as an important platform to review organizational performance, assess ongoing welfare and humanitarian activities, and discuss future plans aimed at strengthening service delivery across the province.

Comprehensive Performance Review and Future Planning

During the meeting, Mr. Abid-ur-Rehman Marwat, Provincial Secretary PRCS KP, delivered a comprehensive and effective presentation highlighting the overall performance of the organization, progress of ongoing welfare initiatives, and strategic priorities for the future. His presentation provided a clear overview of achievements as well as challenges faced by district branches, enabling informed discussion and planning.

Review of District-Level Performance

A detailed review of the performance of district branches across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was conducted, with participants sharing insights on administrative efficiency, program implementation, and humanitarian response mechanisms. Various administrative, welfare, and humanitarian issues were discussed in depth, particularly in relation to disaster response, emergency preparedness, and timely assistance to vulnerable populations.

Important suggestions were considered to further improve organizational effectiveness, expand the scope of services, and ensure prompt and efficient humanitarian response during natural disasters and emergencies.

Strengthening Volunteers and District Coordination

The meeting also emphasized the need to increase the capacity of volunteers, enhance training opportunities, and improve coordination at the district level. Participants discussed the importance of planning in line with modern requirements, including improved communication, structured reporting systems, and community-centered approaches to humanitarian service.

Chairman’s Remarks on Unity and Commitment

Addressing the participants, Chairman Farzand Ali Wazir appreciated the dedication and efforts of district secretaries and stressed the importance of working with mutual cooperation, unity, and discipline. He emphasized that these values are essential to making the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Red Crescent an active, effective, and people-friendly welfare institution.

He reaffirmed that the Red Crescent remains fully committed to its mission of serving humanity without discrimination and assured that all available resources will continue to be utilized to meet public expectations and humanitarian needs across the province.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants expressed their strong determination to further strengthen the mission of humanitarian service through joint efforts and enhanced collaboration, with a particular focus on empowering and strengthening district branches.

The meeting concluded with renewed resolve to work collectively for the betterment of communities and to enhance the impact of PRCS KP’s humanitarian and welfare initiatives.

PRCS and Peshawar Serena Hotel Strengthen Partnership Through MoU Discussions

An important meeting was recently held in connection with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and Peshawar Serena Hotel, marking a significant step toward enhanced collaboration in humanitarian and community welfare initiatives.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Imtiaz Ali, Director Sales & Marketing / Deputy General Manager, Peshawar Serena Hotel, and Mr. Farzand Ali Wazir, Chairman, Pakistan Red Crescent Society Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Senior representatives from both organizations participated in constructive discussions aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation and exploring meaningful avenues for joint action.

Focus on Humanitarian Collaboration

During the meeting, both sides engaged in detailed deliberations on potential areas of partnership, with a strong emphasis on humanitarian initiatives, social responsibility, and community development.
