Dry Ration dispatched for Buner Flood Affectees with Support of ICRC

In response to the recent floods that have severely impacted communities in District Buner, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has taken swift action to provide essential food support to the affected families.

With the generous contribution of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Sub Delegation, Peshawar, dry ration was purchased from CSD Peshawar to meet the urgent needs of flood-hit households.

The ration includes:

  • Rice (Kainat Sella)

  • Daal Channa

  • Banaspati Ghee

  • Dry Milk

  • Lipton Black Tea

These items will be cooked daily and distributed among the flood affectees, ensuring that families receive freshly prepared meals during this critical time.

This initiative reflects the strong partnership between PRCS and ICRC in providing timely humanitarian assistance to communities facing hardships. By addressing immediate food needs, PRCS KP continues to uphold its commitment to alleviating the suffering of vulnerable families and reinforcing solidarity in times of crisis.
