RFL is the generic term for activities that aim to prevent separation and disappearances, and help those people who lost contact with their families as a result of conflict, natural disaster or migration. RFL works to restore and maintain contact between family members and clarify the fate of persons reported separated from their families. These activities are often connected to the psychological, legal and material support provided to the families and persons affected resettlement or reintegration programs and social welfare service.
