PRCS KP with Support from PRCS Punjab, Launches Mobile Health Team Camp in Buner

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with vital support from the PRCS Punjab Branch, organized a Mobile Health Team (MHT) medical camp to provide free healthcare services to flood-affected communities in Village Nar Batawal, UC Malapur, District Buner. The medical team was dispatched all the way from Lahore by PRCS Punjab to strengthen relief efforts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During the camp, a total of 130 patients were registered and treated, including 81 men, 34 women, and 17 children (paediatric cases). The team provided free consultations and essential medicines, addressing both general and flood-related health concerns.
Medicines dispensed at the camp included Azithromycin, Metronidazole, Metformin, ORS, Paracetamol, Dicloran, Omeprazole, Ciprofloxacin, Tranexamic Acid, cough syrups, Neilstat oral drops, Permethrin, Calcium, B-Complex, anti-allergics, and Polyfex eye ointment.
This initiative marks the continuation of PRCS KP’s mobile healthcare response in Buner, made possible through inter-provincial solidarity and support from PRCS Punjab. By joining hands across provinces, PRCS ensures that flood-affected families in Buner receive timely medical services, treatment, and life-saving medicines close to their communities.
