PRCS Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Continues Flood Relief Operations – Daily Update (22 August 2025)

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is actively continuing its humanitarian response to the devastating Monsoon Floods 2025, providing life-saving assistance to vulnerable families across the province.

Consolidated Relief Response (as of 22 August 2025)

So far, PRCS KP has supported more than 17,500 beneficiaries across affected districts including Buner, Swat, Dir Lower, Shangla, and Mansehra, with relief assistance worth over PKR 11.18 million (USD 38,813). Key interventions include:

  • 🍲 10,400 cooked food parcels distributed

  • 🚑 1 free medical camp organized through a Mobile Health Unit (130 patients treated)

  • 💧 6,100 liters of clean drinking water provided

  • 🏠 45 family tents installed as temporary shelters (315 beneficiaries)

  • 📦 75 Non-Food Item (NFI) packages distributed (525 beneficiaries)

  • 🧼 15 Family Hygiene Kits handed over (105 beneficiaries)

Daily Response Update (22 August 2025)

On the 22nd of August alone, PRCS KP reached 3,230 beneficiaries, with relief support valued at PKR 1.32 million (USD 4,566). The day’s operations included:

  • Distribution of 3,100 cooked food parcels

  • Deployment of a Mobile Health Unit, treating 130 patients in the field

PRCS Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with the support of partners, volunteers, and local communities, continues to stand by those affected, ensuring timely delivery of food, water, shelter, medical aid, and hygiene support in the hardest-hit areas.
